She’s back—live, personal, and as radiant as ever.
Samantha invites you to an intimate, soul-stirring evening of music and storytelling. The West End’s brightest star takes on some of the UK’s most spectacular cathedrals, lit by candlelight, in a setting unlike anything she’s done before. This Masked Singer champion trades in the spotlight to reveal the voice, the heart, and the journey behind it all. Stripped back. Deeply personal. Utterly unforgettable.
This is Samantha Barks: The Cathedral Tour—a once-in-a-lifetime evening you simply can’t miss.

Please see the info below for Durham:
Durham Cathedral Bus: The Cathedral Bus connects the Cathedral and Castle to the train station and coach drop-off point at Freeman's Place. It runs throughout the day, Monday to Saturday. The bus will be operating on Sundays until 1 November. The buses are suitable for wheelchair users and pushchairs. Park and ride holders travel free.
Durham City car parks: Durham's narrow, medieval streets mean there is no parking at the Cathedral itself, but there are several car parks a short walk away. Find locations and tariffs on Durham County Council's Durham City car parks page.
Park and Ride scheme: Park your car and take a bus into the city centre. These car parks are open all year round from 7am – 7pm Monday to Saturday, excluding Bank Holidays:
Belmont Park and Ride - DH1 1SR
Sniperley Park and Ride - DH1 5RA
Howlands Farm Park and Ride - DH1 3TQ
More information about Park and Ride is on Durham County Council's website
Disabled and blue badge parking: There is limited parking on Palace Green, in front of the cathedral, for people with limited mobility. To enquire about disabled parking, contact the Palace Green security office by phone on 0191 334 2222.
Durham City centre congestion charge: There is a congestion charge if you drive onto the Durham City peninsula between 10am and 2am, Monday to Sunday, (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day).
Evening travel: The Cathedral Bus does not run in the evening, but taxis can pick up and drop off outside the Cathedral. This Is Durham have created a list of County Durham taxi operators.
Coach parking: Find information about coach drop-offs and parking on Durham City Council’s coach parking page.
Will there be a cloakroom? There will not be anywhere in the cathedrals for the storage of your personal belongings.
Can I take food and drink into the auditorium?
We ask very kindly that no food and drink is brought into the cathedrals.
What does “restricted view” or “no view” mean?
A restricted view, or no view, means that you may be unable to see the entire stage from the specified seats. You’ll have either an incomplete view because of the position of the seats, or something may be in your line of sight. Don’t worry, the audio quality will still be excellent!
Why is there no seat number on my ticket confirmation?
Most of these venues are General Admission, so you will be seated in clearly marked sections.
What does “access + companion” mean?
These are tickets for someone with accessibility requirements.
How do I book these tickets?
If you're eligible, just select an access + companion ticket (or two tickets if you require a companion to attend with you). Maximum two tickets per purchase. If you require more than two tickets for your booking, you'll need to make a separate booking at standard pricing for those attending with you.
What happens after booking?
A member of the event team will contact you before the concert to:
Ask for proof of eligibility (e.g., a disability card or similar documentation).
Confirm your access needs, like whether you use a wheelchair or need step-free access.
Where will I be seated?
Your seats will be arranged based on your specific needs and the layout of the cathedral. Seating is subject to any restrictions the venue may have, which is why it's not assigned immediately during booking.
