About Witness for the Prosecution

Who’s innocent and who’s guilty? It’s up to the audience in this Agatha Christie drama staged in an actual courtroom. Report for jury service and book Witness for the Prosecution tickets on Box Office.

A man named Leonard Vole befriends and old woman and inherits all her money when she suddenly dies, raising the suspicion of the courts and his wife. Was it murder or an accident? In this immersive production, the audience hears the arguments and decides at each performance whether Leonard walks free or spends a lifetime in prison.

All this intrigue is spun by the master of murder mysteries, Agatha Christie, who premiered the show in 1953 and once called it one of her favorite works. Critics and audiences have hailed Witness, too — London Theatre’s critic said of this production, “It certainly is an authentic experience. Christie's dialogue between the lawyers and the judge is excellent, managing to find humour without undermining their authority at any point.”

Experience the classic play in a unique way at London County Hall — it’s impossible to get closer to all the suspense and action than at this production. Watch the trial unfold by booking tickets to Witness for the Prosecution in London.
